| Setting | Best for | Approx. size per A4 page |
|---|---|---|

| Balanced | Most online applications | 120 – 300 KB |
| Smallest file | Strict upload limits, email | 60 – 150 KB |
Scanning documents with your phone
- Place the page on a contrasting surface and shoot from directly above to avoid a slanted page.
- Use daylight and avoid your shadow on the page.
- Crop each photo to the page edges before converting.

Frequently asked questions
How many images can I convert at once?
There is no fixed limit. Dozens of pages work fine on most phones and computers; very large batches may take a little longer because conversion happens on your device.
How do I keep the PDF under 1 MB or 2 MB?
Choose “Smallest file” or “Balanced”. A typical A4 document page is around 100–250 KB in Balanced mode, so 5–8 pages usually fit under 2 MB.
Can I change the page order?
Yes – use the ↑ and ↓ buttons next to each file before creating the PDF.
Does it support HEIC photos from iPhone?
Most browsers cannot read HEIC. On iPhone, set Camera › Formats to “Most Compatible”, or share the photo as JPG before choosing it.
