Resize Photo for Online Forms (KB & Pixels)

Online applications reject photos that are too big or the wrong shape. Pick the size your form asks for – or type the exact pixels and KB – and download a ready-to-upload JPG. Processing is 100% in your browser, so your photo stays private.

How to resize your photo for an online form

  1. Read the photo instructions on the application portal: width × height in pixels and the maximum size in KB.
  2. Choose your photo above. A recent photo with a plain light background works best.
  3. Select a preset or enter the exact width, height and maximum KB.
  4. If the top of your head is cut, switch crop to “Top”.
  5. Download the JPG and upload it to the form.

Frequently asked questions

Is my photo uploaded to your server?

No. The resizing happens inside your browser using your device’s own processor. The photo never leaves your phone or computer, which is why it also works quickly on slow connections.

What photo size does FPSC / PPSC / NTS require?

Requirements change between advertisements and portals, so always read the instructions on the form. Most ask for a recent passport-style photo with a plain light background in JPG, often under 50–100 KB. Choose the closest preset or enter the exact pixels and KB under Custom size.

The form says “photo must be less than 20 KB”. Will it still look clear?

Yes, at small dimensions such as 150×200 pixels a 20 KB JPG looks sharp on screen. The tool picks the highest quality that fits under your limit.

My head is cut off after resizing. What should I do?

Choose “Crop from: Top (keep head)”, or crop your photo first so your face is in the middle with some space above the head.

Can I use a selfie?

Official forms expect a front-facing photo with a plain white or light blue background, no filters and no dark glasses. Stand in front of a plain wall in daylight, hold the phone at eye level and keep shoulders straight.
