Frequently asked questions

Where is the reference number on my electricity bill?

The 14-digit reference number is printed near the top left of every WAPDA/DISCO bill, usually written as two groups such as “09 15123 1234567”. Type all 14 digits without spaces; the letter U or R after it is not needed.

Can I download and print a duplicate bill?

Yes. The official PITC page shows the complete bill; use your browser’s Print option or “Save as PDF” to keep a copy or pay it at a bank.

Why does it say my reference number is invalid?

Check that you chose the right company and entered all 14 digits. New connections and recently changed meters sometimes take one billing cycle to appear online.

Is it safe to enter my reference number here?

The number goes straight from your browser to the official PITC bill website in a new tab; PK Toolbox does not receive or store it. It is only remembered on your own device for convenience.

How can I pay my bill online?

Use your bank’s app or internet banking, JazzCash, Easypaisa or any 1Bill-enabled service: choose Electricity, select your company and enter the same reference number.
