How Fiverr earnings are calculated
- Fiverr fee = order value × 20%.
- Dollars withdrawn = order value − Fiverr fee − withdrawal fee.
- Rupees before tax = dollars × dollar rate × (1 − conversion loss).
- Take-home = rupees before tax − export tax (0.25% PSEB registered, 1% otherwise).
Worked example
A $100 order, $3 withdrawal, Rs 280 per dollar, 1% conversion loss, PSEB registered.
- Fiverr fee: 100 × 20% = $20, so $77 is withdrawn after the $3 fee
- Rupees: 77 × 280 × 0.99 = Rs 21,344
- Tax: 21,344 × 0.25% = Rs 53
- Take-home: Rs 21,291 – you keep 76% of the order value
